A Look Towards Spring // Spring 2015 Pantone Trends

In the midst of cold weather, it might sound crazy that we are looking ahead towards Spring trends. But baby, it'll be here before we know it.
We will be hanging up our warm jackets and folding up our extra blankets, which means that our closets are going to need a little spring cleaning!

...And by cleaning I mean additions of new, clean clothes. Duh!

So listen close ladies, and remember that rules are meant to be broken.

The Lineup:

"Muted" and "earthy" are words that come to mind to describe this set. We have a little bit of a pop with Tangerine, but even that's subtle.
I'm in paradise imagining these colors dancing on my fingernails this spring.

First things first. The official Pantone color for 2015 is: Marsala!

I am dreaming of this color as a lipstick...

There's a lot of hate circling around this color. But let's take a step back and appreciate it. I can see this color working great as a colored jean, a nice dress for the office, a cute skirt for the weekends. And oh my... put this color on any shoe (especially in suede) and I will most certainly buy them.

Now (drumroll, please!)...
My 5 favorites:

Yum.
I adore the color blue, so maybe I am biased here. This would be great for details, accessories, sweaters. It is a thoughtful and relaxing color, and would be a great addition to any wardrobe.

This might be the perfect gray. Not too light. Not too dark. It's a color that will add to your wardrobe and enhance the colors that you are wearing.
Love.Love.Love.

Give me this in a bathing suit. Please.
Or as a great statement necklace. It's bold, demanding, and fun.

I can not get enough of greens lately. This one would be a great color to add to my closet. I don't see myself wearing this in any crazy sort of way, but in a way that enhances my outfit and adds a touch of detail, or maybe a spot of color to an otherwise monochromatic outfit.

This is a darker, more colorful gray, in my opinion. Wear it with bright colors to make them pop, or with dark/black colors to add a little bit of lightness and color. It's practical. It's durable.

Get those wardrobes Spring ready, ladies and gents.
It will be here before you know it!

XOXO,
